WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump’s formal withdrawal from the 12-nation Pacific trade agreement. Which declared Monday, creates an american policy vacuum in a fast-growing region that has China and longtime U.S. allies.
Since Trump vowed throughout the campaign to withdraw the U.S. from the Pacific trade deal, commonly referred to as TPP. Which he argued was harmful to american workers and manufacturing. that supposed in part to show Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam and other Pacific countries.
